  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1.5 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Butter
  • Maple syrup

Method

  1. 1

Crack 1 egg into a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1/2 cup milk, 1.5 tbsp oil, and 1 tsp vanilla essence to the bowl.

  3. 3

Whisk the wet ingredients until well combined and smooth.

  4. 4

Add 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1 tsp baking powder to the wet mixture.

Take 1/8 cup (2 tablespoons) of batter and pour it into the center of the preheated pan to form a pancake.

  8. 8

Cook the pancake on one side until bubbles appear on the surface and stop forming (approximately 1.5-2 minutes).

  9. 9

Flip the pancake over and cook for another 1.5-2 minutes until golden brown.

  10. 10

Remove the cooked pancake from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.

  11. 11

Stack the cooked pancakes on a plate.
